Architecture
During the branding and identity development phase, we decided to place the emphasis on functionality, pragmatism, and accessibility. This concept carried over into the site structure. We avoided introductory words about product quality and the advantages of buying from Stones and Stones. USPs become native when a user arrives on the site and finds the product they need in a couple of clicks.
Before development, we built a semantic core and researched the behavioral patterns of traffic on similar sites. So right on the home page we addressed users' pain points and offered a list organized by application and stone type.
We worked on site navigation and convenient filtering.
Product detail page
Most of the stone is shipped from production in India and pricing is heavily dependent on the Dollar exchange rate. But it was important for us to provide accurate prices and delivery times.
So we developed a module that updates prices daily based on the exchange rate, updates possible delivery dates, and caches them to reduce database load.
And of course, responsive layout.
